چکیده
Estimating pile group efficiency for open-ended steel piles in small arrangements is a challenging task designers. This paper reports on the large-scale experimental campaign performed BorWin gamma offshore converter platform, which involved single and two-pile systems scale of 1:10. The works included installation, dynamic end-of-driving tests, restrike static load tests pair groups densely compacted, artificially prepared homogeneous sand. cone penetration test (CPT) profiles blow counts confirmed that foundation are comparable to each other. results system were compared with conventional design methods. Such comparison indicated CPT-based methods load-transfer applicable at considered model scale. bearing capacity prediction obtained via Case Pile Wave Analysis Program (CAPWAP) method conservative respect capacity. A consistent setup effect can be detected by analyzing complete loading session. given was found less than 1.0 both very large soil strains, while it equaled failure.

Investigation of the Pile Aging Effect of a Fixed Offshore Platform Located in Persian Gulf using Nonlinear Soil-Pile Interactions
The study about the jacket platforms in the past has revealed that the most of the collapse failures occur due to the lack of strength of the pile foundation. However, when the jacket platforms which have been collapsed due to extreme condition were looked into, it was found that most of them had their foundations intact. These contrasting facts can be explained with the help of the phenomenon ...
متن کاملBidimensional Sand Pile Model
In this paper we introduce the Bidimensional Sand Pile Model (BSPM), that is, a generalization of the Sand Pile Model (SPM) with the addition of a further dimension. The SPM and some related models have been studied in many different domains and they play an important role in the theory of discrete dynamical systems. They were considered in the context of integer lattices by Brylawski in 1973. ...
متن کاملStructure of some sand pile model
spm (Sand Pile Model) is a simple discrete dynamical system used in physics to represent granular objects. It is deeply related to integer partitions, and many other combinatorics problems, such as tilings or rewriting systems. The evolution of the system started with n stacked grains generates a lattice, denoted by SPM(n). We study here the structure of this lattice. We first explain how it ca...
متن کاملsimplified method for settlement prediction of single pile and pile group using a hyperbolic model
a simplified approach for nonlinear analysis of the load-displacement response of a single pile and a pile group is presented using the load-transfer approach. a hyperbolic model is used to capture the relationship between unit skin friction and pile-soil relative displacement developed at the pile-soil interface and the load-displacement relationship developed at the pile end. as to the nonlin...
متن کاملA recursive structure of sand pile model and its applications
The Sand Pile Model (SPM) and its generalization, the Ice Pile Model (IPM), originate from physics and have various applications in the description of the evolution of granular systems. In this article, we deal with the enumeration and the exhaustive generation of the accessible configuration of the system. Our work is based on a new recursive decomposition theorem for SPM configurations using ...
